So the end of term is finally here!
Time to say bye bye to your uni friends, pack your bags and head back to your parents’ house with their warm beds, clean kitchens, full fridges and central heating.
If you’re travelling back home for the summer, don’t forget to book your Uni Baggage. We’ll collect your luggage and deliver it straight to your front door at home. You don’t have to do a thing. (Well, except pack.)
If you’re planning to book your Uni Baggage for the end of term, here are some top tips:
1. Pack your items in strong suitcases
Not light cardboard boxes, plastic bags or plastic containers. You’ll need something strong enough to protect your luggage. You can read our packaging guide here.
2. Pay attention to your emails.
Following your order, you’ll receive an email from us. It will contain info about your tracking which you should keep an eye on. If something is delayed or if you’re confused by anything, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
3. Pack your luggage securely.
Don’t just throw everything into one bag. And try not to over pack. You have 30kg per item you book with us, so make sure your packaging can hold that weight.
4. Be careful!
Make sure you haven’t packed any prohibited items. You can read our list to check.
5. Be organised.
We advise students to book their luggage collection a couple of days in advance, just to be sure. However, you can book as far in advance as you like. You’ll be given the option to select your desired collection date during the booking process.
6. And….relax.
Once you’ve made your booking and printed your labels, just sit back and let us do the rest. All you have to do is get yourself home and we’ll take good care of your luggage.
