By booking a collection through Unibaggage.com you agree to Uni Baggage's terms and conditions outlined below as well as the couriers terms and conditions.

 

1.1

 

Uni Baggage is a booking agent for national and international couriers and does not handle your shipments.

 

1.2

 

Your package may weigh up to 30kg if sending within the UK and 25kg if sending out of the UK. It must not exceed 3 meters length and girth (measured around its thickest part) combined and 1.5 meters for the greatest dimension. Items over these limits may be refused carriage and are not entitled to a refund.

 

1.3

 

Collections will take place between 9.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday. You agree that you will make the item available for collection between these times on your collection date. Deliveries will take place between 9.00 - 18.00 on your delivery date.

 

1.4

 

You agree to the couriers terms and conditions. If sending your items within the UK (Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands) you agree to Parcel Force’s conditions of carriage. If sending outside the UK you agree to DHL terms and conditions.

 

1.5

 

Each consignment booked though unibaggage.com and sent within the UK (Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands) is insured up to a maximum of £100 by Parcelforce Worldwide unless you purchase extra insurance from Uni Baggage. The insurance is subject to Parcelforce Worldwide terms and conditions. Consignments sent out of the UK are subject to DHL's terms and conditions, consignments are insured to a maximum £100 unless you purchase extra insurance from Uni Baggage. Extra insurance cover over the couriers maximums is covered by Uni Baggage. The same terms and conditions apply for insurance purchased from Uni Baggage (For UK - Parcelforce's T&C apply, Outside UK DHL's T&C apply).

Packaging is not covered by insurance. If you send your item in a suitcase please tape over all handles and remove any straps to prevent any damage.

 

1.7

 

If sending electronic items, such as TVs and Laptops, they must be sent in the original manufacturer packaging. If they are not, they are sent at your own risk and will not be coverage by insurance.

 

1.8

 

Items should only be sent in strong cardboard boxes or suitcases. If you use other packaging your item may be refused carraige and any damaged caused to your items will not be covered by insurance.

 

1.9

 

Insurance claims must be made within 14 days to Uni Baggage. Should you need to make a claim please email info@unibaggage.com within 14 days of your item(s) collection date and we will make the claim on your behalf. Claims after this time will not be processed.

 

2.0

 

Uni Baggage provides a 24hr and 48hr express service to mainland UK. A 48hr express service is available to N.I., Scottish Highlands and Islands. Parcelforce Worldwide has a 97% ontime delivery success rate. The service is not guaranteed and should not be used for time sensitive items. N.I., Scottish Highlands and Islands will usually receive their package within 2 working days, however it can take up to 3 working days for remote locations (Zone 2 and 3). Items are not delivered or collected on weekends or bank holidays. Items sent out of the UK with Uni Baggage will take longer. Please contact us for delivery times. Uni Baggage is not liable for any delays caused to your items.

 

2.1

 

It is your responsibility to ensure the labels are attached securely, if you do not attach your labels securely you are not entitled to claim insurance if your item is delayed or lost. Securely is defined as using a strong cardboard box or suitcase and attaching 2 labels to different sides of your item and If using a suitcase do not use tape alone to secure your labels.

 

2.2

 

You must be present for collection and delivery, if you miss your collection no refunds will be offered. You may leave you package in a safe place with a note in clear view stating where the package is and that it is for collection by Parcelforce. If you miss a delivery, packages can be rearranged for delivery or collected from a local depot.

 

2.3

 

Uni Baggage's couriers will not collect from individual rooms in halls of residents. Items will be collected from the reception or post room. Ask your University where this is.

 

2.4

 

Uni Baggage is not liable for any delay, loss or damage that may occur to your package. It is the couriers responsibility to ensure your package is collected, handled and delivered with due care. If you have experienced a problem with your collection or delivery please contact Parcelforce Worldwide on 08448004466 if your item is being sent within the UK. If item is being sent out of UK please contact us directly. If your package has unfortunately been damaged please email Uni Baggage as soon as possible.

 

2.5

 

No refunds will be offered for a cancelation. Partial refunds may be offered if your package is severely delayed due to Parcelforce Worldwide. This doesn’t apply if your labels have not been attached correctly.

Uni Baggage reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time.

 

 

Return/Cancellation Policy 

 

Uni Baggage is a booking agent and does not offer refunds for cancelled/missed collections unless cancellation insurance has been purchased. If your collection does not happen you are entitled to a full refund or we can arrange another collection for you. If your item is delivered later than the 24 hour or 48 hour service Uni Baggage may offer partial refunds up to a maximum of 50%. This is not applicable if labels fall off due to customer error. If your item is delayed more than 5 working days due to Uni Baggage's error we will offer a full refund. This does not include situations that are out of Uni Baggage's or the couriers control such as adverse weather conditions.

 

Delivery Policy 

 

If you use the 24 hour service your items will be delivered the next working day*.

If you use the 48 hour service your items will be delivered in 2 working days*.

If you use our European service your items will be delivered in 3-4 working days*.

 

*A working day is Monday - Friday, excluding Public Holidays. These times are not guaranteed. Remote locations can take an extra 1/2 working days.
