Using a student shipping company is an easy, safe and affordable method of transporting your belongings, however some companies offer services that may not be completely suitable for students. Below we take a holiday shipping company called Send My Bag and compare the difference between their services and our own.
Your personal effects may contain some of your most important belongings, make sure you choose a shipping company that you can trust. While price is important, it is vital that your items are kept safe in transit. We keep customers updated each step of the way, we can send you email and text message updates so you know your items are keep safe (you can choose what notifications you want in the My Details section of your account).
The comparison is made on sending one 30kg item (box or suitcase) within the UK Mainland.
Important: We permit you to send a massive 30kg per item. SendMyBag limit some routes to only 25kg, if you send 30kg with Send My Bag on these routes there is at least a £10 fee to pay.
E.G. SendMyBag quote £135 to send a suitcase to Canada however you will actually be charged £158.00 to send a 30kg suitcase. Make sure you don’t get caught out!

We can notify you via Email and/or SMS for each tracking event. We can let you know when your items have been collected, are out for delivery, and many more events. Set up what notifications you want in My Details after booking.
