Student Baggage & Excess Baggage Terms & Conditions


  • Unibaggage.com is a booking agent for Parcelforce Worldwide.
  • Your package may weigh up to 30kg. It must not exceed 3 metres length and girth (measured around its thickest part) combined and 1.5 metres for the greatest dimension. Items over these limits may be refused carriage and are not entitled to refunds.
  • Collections and deliveries will take place between 9.00 and 18.00 Mon-Fri. Please make sure you are avialable for collecion.
  • All items booked though unibaggage.com are insured up to a maximum of £150 by Parcelforce Worldwide. Should you need to make a claim please email unibaggage.com and we will make the claim on your behalf. The insurance is subject to Parcelforce Worldwide terms and conditions. Click for details.

  • Unibaggage.com provides a 24hr express service to Mainland UK. A 48 hour express service opperates to N.I., Scottish Highlands and Islands. This is not a guaranteed service and only opperates on working days. Items are not delivered or collected on weekends or bank holidays. Parcelforce Worldwide 24hr express service has a 97% next day delivery rate. It can take up to 3 working days for remote locations (Zone 2 and 3).
  • You must be present for collection and delivery, if you miss your collection no refunds will be offered. You may leave you package in a safe place with a note in clear view stating where the package is and that it is for collection by Parcelforce. If you miss a delivery, packages can be rearranged for delivery or collected from a local depot.
  • Make sure you package is correctly labelled, attached at least two labels to the outside stating your name, delivery address and tracking number (these labels are provided by Uni Baggage). It is also advisable to insert a copy of your address inside your package in case the labels fall off. It is your responsibility to ensure the labels are attached correctly. Failing to attach a label securely could result in the delay or loss of your package. If you are using a bag or suitcase to transport your items, it is essential that your labels are attached securely.
  • Parcelforce Worldwide will not collect from individual rooms in halls of residents. Items will be collected from the reception or post room. Ask your University where this is.
  • Unibaggage.com is not liable for any delay, loss or damage that may occur to your package. It is Parcelforce Worldwide’s responsibility to ensure your package is collected, handled and delivered with due care.   • No refunds will be offered for a cancelation. Partial refunds may be offered if your package is severely delayed due to Parcelforce Worldwide. This doesn’t apply if your labels have not been attached correctly.
